The Transatlantic Legal Conference is successor of our Working Group Day (Fachgruppentag).

 

The DAJV-Working Groups present and discuss current topics and cases of transatlantic relevance with recognized experts from the U.S. and Germany. Our four Working Groups cover the following areas of law:

 
ALM (Arbitration, Litigation, Mediation)
  • Climate Change: A new frontier and climate for dispute resolution? (Session 1, 2.30 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.)
 
ARIM (Antitrust, Regulated Industries, Media)
  • Legal transformation from an inhouse perspective – big ideas and the corporate legal department reality (Session 2, 5.00 p.m. - 6.30 p.m.)
 
CLPL (Constitution, Legislation, Public Law)
  • Legal challenges of autonomous systems (Session 2, 5.00 p.m. - 6.30 p.m.)
 
M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions)
  • The MAC is back! Analysis and practical effects of the Akorn decision (Session 1, 2.30 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.)

The registration opens at 1.30 p.m. Coffee break will take place between the sessions (4.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m.). The event concludes with a dinner (6.30 p.m.), along with our special guest speaker Frank Sportolari, President of AmCham Germany.
 
Each DAJV member may become a member of one or more Working Groups. The Transatlantic Legal Conference is also open to all other interested persons.
 
 

On SaturdayApril 6, we offer a free guided tour through the Altstadt (11. a.m., eng/ger). A tour to Frankfurt‘s Neue Altstadt explains the reconstruction concept and the history of some of exemplary houses (90 mins).
