Zum Vortragsthema:
In today’s globalized economy and enforcement environment, internal corporate investigations are becoming complex and evolving international endeavors.  During his presentation, Professor Dervan will begin by discussing internal investigation strategies in the United States and the lessons U.S. counsel have learned from engaging in these matters.  In particular, he will focus on strategies for minimizing the chances employees will become external whistleblowers, techniques for encouraging employees to internally report suspicions, and tactics for conducting investigations in a manner that will be credible and effective.  Professor Dervan will then discuss the growing international nature of internal investigations and some of the most current, pressing, and difficult issues this phenomenon creates.  In particular, he will focus on recent trends in transnational law enforcement, strategies for selecting the right internal investigators, challenges when collecting, reviewing, and transferring documents, tactics and pitfalls when interacting with employees, and strategies and concerns during disclosure and settlement.

Der Vortrag findet in englischer Sprache statt. Die Teilnahme ist kostenfrei.
